Communications Manager, Survivor Justice Center

Lead the growth of Survivor Justice Center’s social media presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Produce an annual impact report in both print and digital mediums highlighting key program achievements, advocacy initiatives, and donor stories. Curate and distribute a monthly newsletter to nearly 5,000 subscribers via MailChimp.

Marketing and Communications Coordinator II, The People Concern

Led quarterly fundraising campaigns across email and social media for over a dozen programs across The People Concern. Created quarterly newsletters to connect with multiple audiences and showcase the work of frontline staff. Managed the creation of the annual impact report including: writing, designing, collaborating with multiple departments, such as fundraising, advocacy, and housing, and outreach to key partners.

Programming and Marketing Coordinator, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Johnson County

Developed social media strategy and content. Created collateral in a variety of mediums for diverse fundraising initiatives, including the annual Bowl For Kids’ Sake, one of the largest fundraisers at the agency. Presented to the Board of Directors regarding social media and email analytics to further communications strategies.

I have considerable experience in creating both digital and print graphics using Adobe tools; I prioritize clean and easy-to-read designs that adhere to brand guidelines. In the past I have created informative one pagers for donors, impact reports, event materials, and even legal documents used in day-to-day client services.

Campaign Management

I have lead multiple successful campaigns, utilizing a multimedia strategy across email and social media platforms. At The People Concern, I lead a campaign that raised over $7,000, one of the best performing campaigns of the year. At Survivor Justice Center, I craft all content for our annual Domestic Violence Awareness Month campaign.

Premiere Pro

Using Premiere Pro, I have created both short social media content and long-form YouTube content. I am experienced not just with editing, but with storyboard prep, interviewing, and filming. When working with clients, I use a trauma-informed and culturally responsive strategy that allows them to talk about their experience, while avoiding potential retraumatization.

I love spending my weekends trying new restaurants across Los Angeles, with some of my favorites being Republique in Mid-City, Wok Bar in Koreatown, and Langer’s in Westlake.

Public Transit

I am always exploring the city via bus and Metro in an attempt to become less car reliant.
